WHAT TO DO DURING A DENTAL EMERGENCY?

If it’s during working hours, you should call the practice and ask for an emergency appointment. We will always prioritise emergency patients and aim to get you an appointment within 24-48 hours. When our practice is closed during evenings, weekends and bank holidays, we partner with Plymouth-based The 247 Dentist to provide emergency dental care to our patients. To access this out of hours only emergency service please call 03301 759995.

WHAT CONSTITUTES EMERGENCY NEED:

Severe trauma to teeth (eg. tooth knocked out)

Pain

Uncontrolled bleeding

Dental infection/fever/facial swelling that hasn’t responded to antibiotics or analgesia and which is increasing in size
